We offer solar solutions in the following categories
1) Grid Level
As a developer, Living Energy can engage from green field to late stage development of utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) plants, which feed electricity directly into the grid or grid island.
During the engineering design stage the plant is optimised to minimise effect loss on both the PV side (DC) and connection to the grid (AC). Furthermore, the plant design ensures minimal maintenance by taking into consideration environmental factors such as heat, humidity, precipitation, wind loads, dust and sand for each plant design. The plant is constructed to have an operational lifespan of minimum 25 years.
Financing is key to realising such plants and Living Energy can structure financing for such projects provided the FiT (feed in Tarif) is sufficiently attractive and the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is bankable.
2) Facility Level
Living Energy offers a range of different solar PV systems, which are tailored to the specific needs of our customers. Our solutions power facilities within the following areas:
- Production & mining facilities
- Banks & financial institutions
- Commercial enterprises
- Government & Educational facilities
- Military & security facilities
- Residential housing projects
The systems can be flexibly designed to be on-grid or off-grid, incorporate energy storage for operation after sundown or solely power a facility during daytime to reduce overall energy costs and carbon footprint.
3) Energy Storage
Provide constant power regardless of time of day or weather. When integrated with a PV array or just connected to the grid, energy storage solutions allow constant or at least predictable power for electrical loads. Whether this is for facility or residential installations, systems are specified according to need, starting from UPS function to multi-day autonomy.
Different technologies suit different applications. The engineers at Living Energy deliver optimal battery solutions, taking into account:

4) Telecoms Equipment
Dedicated solutions providing 48 volts for powering telecoms infrastructure are available. These solutions range from battery backup to standalone solar PV with integrated battery storage, and finally to hybrid systems which augment solar PV with either mains or generator supplied power. Traditional Lead-acid, modern Li-ion batteries or super capacitor solutions are available.
