Adetunji, also known as Tunji, lives and breathes for building new and value-adding technologies. Tunji started his career in the automotive industry. Lately, he has worked in the battery industry primarily, specialising in battery management systems. In Living Energy, Tunji’s extensive experience and passion for renewable energy technologies is leveraged in the development of high quality autonomous PV solutions. Tunji has a B.Eng. in Automotive Design and Development Engineering.

Niels is part of the owner circle in one of the leading law companies in Denmark. He has followed, defended and enabled activities relating to the expansion of renewable energy for more than a quarter of a century. Apart from holding the position as chairman of the board, Niels’ legal team ensures a strong legal platform for all Living Energy’s activities worldwide. Niels earned his M.Sc. degree in Law.

History
Living Energy International A/S grew out of the successful, Scandinavia focused Living Energy A/S. The company was founded by a recognised, renewable energy expert with proven track record in industry and driven by an unshakeable belief in the enormous, untapped potential of solar energy as a catalyst for sustainable development, especially in emerging regions.
Over the years Living Energy’s management team has built a specialised and unique competence within solar technology, PV solutions and energy storage for various applications.
The foundation for Living Energy was laid in Kenya already back in the late 70s, where the founders father experimented with the very first solar energy technologies. This was later followed up by research carried out at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), culminating in some of the initial market introductions of solar energy technologies in Scandinavia in the early 80s.

There is an abundance of solar energy resource, especially in developing countries, and the potential of this energy source as a lever for sustainable growth is virtually endless.
Yet, many emerging regions have limited or no access to a reliable, modern and sustainable power supply and rely on dirty, expensive and polluting fossil fuels. We bridge that gap.
Mission
Enabling access to affordable solar energy in all corners of the world
In rural and remote areas, transmission and distribution of energy generated from fossil fuels is complicated, unreliable and expensive – not factoring in the environmental costs. Where no grid exists, all these costs are exacerbated.
Solar energy is clean, cost-effective and reliable, with the added advantages of proximity and very low maintenance costs. We bring the technology out there and make it affordable and available to all.
